  1. ALONE. On this planet WITHOUT LIFE. Immediately queue alien copper bearing mushrooms. Such discrimination against mineral based lifeforms. Having a robot friend counts as alone. We do not recognise relationships with digital lifeforms. Additional colonists will arrive in two days. Until then enjoy your singular lonesomeness in the lonely outpost.

  2. Blue Eyes White Super Saiyan Vegeta taking so long to suck stuff up is actually really annoying. So easy to mine something and walk away from it leaving it behind. I can't even see any reason why the omni tool shouldn't just place it straight in your inventory and only drop harvest on the ground when it's full. Nothing quality of life or use friendly about the current setup.

  3. I actually kind of hate the character portrait, largely because it looks nothing like the in game model. But seriously I hope there are options for the player character. If there's not as a minimum a female player option this dev clearly has no idea about the demographics of the target audience for this genre.

  4. I couldn't find any way to split item stacks either. I tried to do the selling fresh mined samples like you did but I just moved the stack to my inventory, new pick ups always land as a new stack in the quick bar… Which is dumb. Wound up with like 6 stacks of copper at one point. Ideally it would check your inventory first and stack with any stack in there before landing in the hotbar. I was also curious if selling each item unlocked anything like filling a collection or making available for purchase. Far as I can tell it doesn't at this stage in development.

  5. Q, E, Space Bar, Left Click. I didn't have the controls list and had to figure it out by trial and error and it was a nightmare. They really struggled with the control design and clearly couldn't master a single context sensitive USE key. Ideally Left Click and E should be able to do everything. And I do wish it was mouse targeting for tilling and planting. That grid indicator is virtually compulsory for facing based placement and lets be honest, it's still a bit of a PITA even if we had it.

  6. That teleport is really disorientating. Especially since the exits don't line up. I walked up and straight back out without meaning to the first time I went through it.

  7. Steel is an alloy though the alloy known as carbon steel should not be confused with alloy steel (which has other added ingredients). But steel is just iron really. I mean steel is only 2% carbon by weight. More than that and you get pig iron (which is still an alloy). So we can overlook the game not treating steel as an allow. If the furnace is set up right it could be adding carbon via whatever is fuelling it. Or maybe he pisses on the iron when he places it in the furnace to get the carbon in the mix old fashion blacksmith style.

  8. Yeah the characters were in invisible in my sequence with Aaron as well. I never found where any of the other colonists were landed and set up in my playthrough. Along with finding your way back to the ship that map can't come soon enough.

  9. I sold gold because I knew I could buy that back once the vegetables were making me bank. Massively expanded the farm week 1. First harvest got like 10 furnaces… Wound up making about 200,000 in my play through but the fact laying the pipes was bugged so you couldn't get the sprinklers working made the whole farming process way to exceedingly tedious to maintain. So that's where I stopped playing.

  10. Mitch I swear if I go over to your tips video and you are recommending players sell a finite crafting resource to get started when there are renewable and more profitable resources available…
